We are seeking Licensed Counselors, Therapists, and Social Workers to join our team in support of the Federal Occupational Health (FOH - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in Washington, D.C.

This is a full-time salaried position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offered by Federal Occupational Health (FOH) is a comprehensive support service available to federal employees. It provides assessment, short-term counseling, management consultation, and coaching to help employees navigate personal challenges affecting their professional and personal lives.

The program aims to address issues promptly, efficiently, and confidentially to ensure minimal disruption to work performance and overall well-being. Services include assessment, counseling, financial and legal assistance, critical incident response, and educational outreach. FOH's EAP plays a crucial role in supporting hundreds of thousands of federal employees and their families nationally and internationally.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English
  • Master’s degree required (MA/MS/MSW)
  • Must have 3-5 years of post-graduate counseling experience
  • Clinical training must include instruction on chemical dependency, mental health, and grief therapy.
  • Current District of Columbia (DC) licensure or certification in behavioral health discipline that meets DC or customer-specific requirements - Care Mgmt:
    • LCSW-C - Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical - Care Mgmt
    • LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Care Mgmt
    • LMHC - Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Care Mgmt
    • LMHP - Licensed Mental Health Professional - Care Mgmt
    • LCPC/LPCC - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Care Mgmt
    • LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor - Care Mgmt
    • Must be an independently licensed behavioral health clinician - Care Mgmt
  • Ability to use a computer system to record clinical information, transmit letters, correspond by email, and track data in spreadsheet/database format.
  • Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier I/II investigation.
